We recently attended the Mullies Marine Fishing Competition at 56 Gwen Rd, Cranbourne West, and it was an incredibly well-organized event! The atmosphere was lively and inviting, making it a fantastic gathering for fishing enthusiasts.
One of the highlights of the evening was a captivating talk by the famous Lee Rayner. He shared his expert insights on catching snapper in Port Phillip and Westernport, which had everyone eager to learn more. Lee also demonstrated a light jigging technique that has brought him considerable success in targeting snapper, offering tips that participants could easily apply in their own fishing adventures.
Following Lee’s presentation, the excitement continued with the fishing competition awards. Winners were announced, and they collected some amazing prizes, along with cash rewards, which added an extra thrill to the night.
Also, a great display of Haines Hunter, Italboats, Suzuki Engines and More.
To top it all off, Mullies Marine provided free food, including delicious wood oven pizza from a food van, ensuring everyone was well-fed and happy throughout the event.
Overall, it was a fantastic social gathering, blending great food, expert fishing advice, and friendly competition. We’re already looking forward to the next Mullies Marine event!
