As you can tell by Jerry’s face we had another successful session on gars and KGW.
We got at St Leonards around 2pm and my friend Paul had only 4 gars in few hours. I got some tuna in the bag and I did a 25m cast to his boat _ I will have this video footage available soon on our tv epsode – and I managed to place it straight into his boat. I also told him to take my rig setup and no time he was catching like no tomorrow.
Me and Jerry managed quiet few gars but all this time KGW rigs did not have a touch. Then right on the sunset we managed first KGW. At this time Andre came on my other left hand side and I told him to anchor next to us as the KGW just starting. Before you know all three of us where catching them left right and center.
For us pilchard on Reedy’s tinganoster did most of the damage, but I think Paul was doing goon on the same rig with Pippies and I don’t know what Andre was using but he was getting onto them as well.
To re-cap Paul was on this spot from 11.30am and the first KGW was at 5pm
Also, the big seven gill still hanging around that area
That’s fishing and again we did managed to make few people happy
