2020 July 25th – Fishing Clifton Springs
Quick update.
Wednesday 22nd July 2020 – I went 3pm straight to st Leonard’s but when I got there the wind end up double the predicted. I took shelter at Portarlington beetween the first yellow mussel farm stick (one closer to the ramp) and land. Managed quiet few Yakkas in very short time.
Thursday afternoon quick run to Clifton Springs Leopold area and just before dark managed 15 kgws.
Saturday I took of with Jerry around 10.30, made a quick stop at Point Wilson. Managed 5 squid in 30 min. Three on RPF jig one on solid black and one on white sapphire . Then we quickly went to Leopold area for kgw. I wanted to catch the tide turn at around 12.45. It was hard work. The water was very clear and no current at all. We only had 8 fish by 3pm. After that we managed another 19, the total of 27.
The sad story was that I got a message from my sister in Europe and that my father past away. He somehow passed away when I was in the place I like the most – on the water, relaxed, and the best time to have a flash back and old memories. The last picture is the tranquil time and miracle of Port Phillip Bay.
Cheers – happy fisherman
