2020 Feb 5th – Fishing Apollo Bay

Take a shot! Me, Adrian and his son AJ, took of to Apollo Bay to scan around for some Tuna. We did a run all the way to Airley’s Inlet, scanned around the Fad’s, seen many charters and other boats, but we seen no action. Six hours later on the way back we made a stop 8km before the ramp in front of some cliffs, and start driffting.

First drift, flatty’s and pinky’s. Second drift big Slimmy Mackerel. And, third drift Pike. Most of the slimmys we got on the Reedy’s Tiganoster rigs, just few meters under the boat. Pike was a similar scenario. All on small pilchard cubes.
