Mud Island with Steve

This morning I managed to get the old friend Steve away fro the computer😀 we got at mud island about 9am -2 hours prior the low tide. Funny enough we could not get a gummy. Flatty’s everywhere, Banjos, Jackson’s and monster Ray’s. Some of the rays took 45 min to bring up and I believe I cut more then 15 rigs. After the tide change I told him we better keep some flatty’s for dinner as there was nothing else for him to take home. Few Gurnards came on board and we where happy. Mima was taking pics and video but nothing to brag about. 4.10pm our of nowhere GUMMY. About 5 pm we moved to squid spot and in 40 min we managed 26. Well, I end up cleaning the fish and squid until 10 pm. I was hopping for more gummy shark, but, I am still a happy fisherman. Gummy took Yakka fillet, and I do have to say I did go thru 13 Yakka”s before we got the gummy. Cheers, happy fisherman
